Two types of sunscreen exist

  1. Chemical Sunscreens – Contain ingredients that absorb the suns harmful rays and disperse them from the skin.
  2. Physical Sunscreens – Contain ingredients such as Zinc Oxide, which has the ability to reflect the suns harmful rays.

Chemical sunscreens can sometimes cause user sensitivity and may not be the best option if you have sensitive skin due to their chemical make up and the fact that they absorb the heat into the skin in comparison to the physical sunscreens which reflect the UV rays.

Those with darker skin tones may not like using a physical sunscreen as they can sometime leave a white cast on the skin as with product will remain on the skins surface.

“Pressing a physical suncream into the skin instead of rubbing can help

reduce the white cast from the Zinc Oxide “
